Celtic transfer Latest – Rogic in £4m move to Qatar

TOM ROGIC is closing in on a move to Qatar according to a report in Daily Mail. The Australian midfielder has struggled with injuries in recent seasons – since the ill-fated trip to play in the Asia Cup in Jaunary 2019 and has been an unused substitute in the three competitive matches that Celtic have played this season.

For Rogic, who memorably scored one of the most iconic goals in Celtic’s history in the closing stages of the 2017 Scottish Cup Final against Aberdeen to complete the Invincible Treble, it certainly looks like his time at Celtic is up.

Celtic according to Sportsmail are in discussions with an unnamed Qatai club for a £4million transfer and they expect a deal to be done within the next 24 hours.

With first team opportunities becoming much rarer for 27 year old Rogic these days at Celtic a move might just be the correct thing for him. And he’ll always be remembered fondly by the Celtic support for plenty of brilliant goals none more special that that iconic Cup Final winner in 2017.
