Celtic TV’s Unique Angle video – Listen to that Incredible James Forrest Roar

UNIQUE ANGLE returns today after Celtic TV decided not to bother last midweek given the result. Yesterday’s match against Motherwell, though saw Neil Lennon start with exactly the same side – only the Daily Record fell for the fake leaked team news sting, which actually included the injured Nir Bitton and a striker in the starting eleven. None of the Celtic fan sites bothered reporting that nonsense, we’re pleased to note.

Anyway the 3-0 win over Motherwell, who had better pull their socks up of they could find themselves in deep trouble at the bottom of the table, was crucial for Celtic who are still playing catch-up due to Bolingoli’s selfish antics a few weeks back. The nine point gap at kick-off, albeit with three games in hand, and the Champions League disaster against the Hungarians, meant that the three points were essential – maybe even job security essential given the mounting stick that had been directed at Neil Lennon and also some of the players, most notably the want-aways the manager referred to in his post-match media interviews on Wednesday night.

Until the same-again Celts scored through the combination of a Callum McGregor dart through the Motherwell midfield line and a wonderful finish from James Forrest, it was not looking good at all. The roar from James Forrest, which you’ll hear in the Unique Angle video, tells it’s own story.

And things got much better in the second half as Lennon introduced not one but two strikers and also realised that with a back three he can play James Forrest on the left (where he was much more effective) and Jeremie Frimpong as the right wingback. And as we’ve pointed out had Frimpong being playing last Wednesday night his pace would have been more than enough to prevent that winning goal.

With Shane Duffy close to coming in it will allow Lennon to go with a back three of Jullien, Duffy and Ajer (if still here) or Bitton and allow Frimpong and Forrest to play as the wingbacks. And that will mean TWO strikers – Ajeti and Edouard together are quite a prospect!

Here’s the Unique Angle video from Celtic TV, just listen to Jamesy’s roar…
