Celtic v Hearts – Let’s make some noise for the Bhoys

Today’s game like each and every game from now on in, it is a vitally important one. Three points is an absolute must if we want to take further control in the destination of the title. And getting the three points puts ‘scoreboard pressure’ on theRangers tomorrow at Ibrox as they’d be six points behind as the minutes tick by in their game against Kilmarnock.

Today’s opponents Hearts have already beaten us twice this season, including once at Celtic Park back in December in a game we produced one of our worst performances of the season, on the back of our Champions League win over Feyenoord.

The Jambos have admittedly had a fine season – if you overlook their five defeat from five against their big cousins – and won’t need to be fired up for this one. Stevie Naismith’s side always find that extra bit of zip when they are playing Celtic. It’s just the way it is, it’s probably Albert Kidd’s fault.

We can forget all about next weekend’s Glasgow Derby clash with theRangers at Paradise as today’s is the bigger game for me when you consider the effort the Gorgie side will put in. That coupled with the pressure on us to win will make it a very tough and nervy game.

So that makes it all the more important that the crowd get fully behind the side from the very start. Let’s turn Paradise into a cauldron of noise for approximately 95 minutes  and make it feel like a European night or a Glasgow Derby day.

That can give the players an extra lift and make them more fired up than they already are. We can ROAR them on to victory that will not only put us six points clear, but give us a confidence booster going into next week’s Derby clash. And our impact today will not only be felt on the pitch at Celtic Park today but also at Ibrox tomorrow.

I know it’s a cliche, but we really can be that extra man. Let’s play our part and make some incredible noise for the Bhoys. Each and every one of us at the game this afternoon has a huge part to play.

Let’s show the Bhoys how much we want to win this title!  It’s time for the Celtic Noise!

ROAR?? More like sweetie paper rustling these days.If you shout encouragement throughout the game you often get fellow “supporters” pointing this out to stewards.Puts them off checking their socials.Take away the seating at the front of the North Stand and turn it into Jungle The Return. Then you will hear the roars.KTF.
