Celtic kick off their defence of the Premiership title this afternoon at home to Kilmarnock. The Scottish Champions have had an impressive pre-season and will hope that they can do the same on Flag Day at Paradise.

Confirmed Starting XI

Brendan has named his team for the game with no surprises given his fitness update in the week.

Kasper Schmeichel will make his Celtic Park and competitive debut.

The Dane will play behind a back four consisting of Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor.

In midfield, captain Callum McGregor starts at the base of the three with Reo Hatate and Matt O’Riley further forward.

In attack, Kyogo leads the line with Nicolas Kühn and James Forrest out wide.
