Celtic face Livingston this afternoon in the Cinch Premiership. Brendan Rodgers’ side have lost their last two games, allowing Rangers to move within two points of the league leaders.

Team News

Celtic go into the game still without Liel Abada and Reo Hatate, who are continuing their rehabilitation from injuries. Apart from that, the manager has a full complement to pick from.

Joe Hart will start in goals.

The Englishman will be joined by a back four comprising Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Liam Scales and Greg Taylor. We will likely see Maik Nawrocki at some stage this afternoon but given the last two results, the manager will want the game killed off before making changes.

In midfield, Matt O’Riley will play alongside skipper Callum McGregor and you’d expect the third midfield position to go to Paolo Bernardo.

In attack, Luis Palma and Daizen Maeda will support Kyogo Furuhashi – who has just one goal in twelve. Celtic need their talisman to find his best form ahead of the Glasgow Derby.

Predicted XI: Hart; Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor; McGregor, O’Riley, Bernardo; Maeda, Kyogo, Palma.

Referee Details

Matthew MacDermid will be assisted by Andy Milne and Daniel McFarlane with Alastair Grieve acting as Fourth Official. Meanwhile, at Clydesdale House, Alan Muir will on VAR with Andrew McWilliam assisting.

Kick Off Time

The game kicks off at 3pm.

Where to Watch

It is a sell-out at Paradise this afternoon. The game is available to watch on Celtic TV for subscribers outside Britain and Ireland.

Livingston have been poor this season and Martindale has increased his bleating about budgets. The West Lothian side have been embroiled with off-field issues but their status in the top division is coming under threat.
