Celtic v Rangers: Michael Beale confirms duo are fit for Semi Final

Celtic face Rangers on Sunday in the Scottish Cup Semi Final. The teams meet at Hampden just three weeks after they met at Celtic Park in the League. Ange Postecoglou’s side were 3-2 winners on that day, which effectively wrapped up the title. However, the Glasgow Derby will play out once again at the National Stadium this weekend.

Rangers manager Michael Beale has confirmed that Ryan Kent and Connor Goldson are in contention to start, having missed games through injury. Both, when fit, will likely be included in the starting XI for the Ibrox club.

Elsewhere, Celtic have welcomed both Reo Hatate and Jota to training this week. The Scottish Champions were without the duo through injury but they have trained this week, along with Liel Abada, and are in contention for the game.

The winners of the match will face either Inverness CT or Falkirk in the showpiece final on the 3rd June 2023 at Hampden.
