Yesterday’s draw with Motherwell was disappointing, not a disaster by any means but still a disappointment.
I think it’s fair to say we weren’t at our best. Sloppy, Indecisive and wasteful in front of goal. Things that aren’t associated with an Ange Postecoglou side. In fact we could have played all night and still not scored, and going by the amount of times the Motherwell players spent on the deck the game could have finished at midnight.

It’s fair to say we were well below our usual standards. Ange will have been as disappointed as the supporters and he will have been vocal about that afterwards in the dressing room, that I have no doubt.
As poor as we were, to be severely critical would be very harsh. Yes it was a dire performance and not pretty to watch, but look at it as a glass half full perspective, it’s another point towards the title. Only two wins are now needed from our last five games to clinch the title. That’s the bigger picture.

We’ve amassed a total of 92 points from a possible 99. We’ve scored 103 goals. We already have the League Cup in the bag and next week we can take strides towards a possible treble by beating theRangers in the Scottish cup semi final. We’ve been outstanding all campaign, a blip was bound to happen sooner or later. it’s only natural.
One things for sure, we can’t play as badly as we did yesterday. If we do we won’t win, simple as that. But it’s a cup tie and we will be up for it, that I have no doubt. The team will be itching to bounce back from their poor performance. I’m confident we will be back to our brilliant best next week and ready to book a place at Hampden on 3rd June.
