Celtic uploaded a video onto their YouTube account of Celtic full-backs Greg Taylor and Alistair Johnston discussing some ‘Burns Night Banter’ and that was always going to be very funny!
This entails Johnston guessing what some pieces of Scottish slang are, with Taylor hilariously having to fill the confused Canadian in on the real meaning of the phrases.
To be fair, Johnston isn’t completely in the dark however, he does know a few phrases that he has picked up already from his short time in Scotland. However, there are so many that the Canadian international simply doesn’t understand and is left dumbfounded when Taylor explains the true meaning.
These two could be the full-back pairing at Tannadice on Sunday as the Scotland International left-back is back in training after his hamstring issue picked up in the 2-2 draw at Ibrox on 2 January which kept Celtic 9 points clear at the top of the league looking down on theRangers.
Seem to remember some classic banter from the Celtic left-back in that game too, so good in fact that his patter has appeared on t-shirts and scarfs as you will notice in this photograph shown above from the game at the weekend against Greenock Morton.
