Celtic’s shambolic defensive performance in the first half against Sparta Prague has left some supporters with tears in their eyes. Odsonne Edouard gave Celtic an early lead but woeful defending send Celtic in at the interval 2-1 down and it was only the post that bothered defending right on the stroke of half-time to prevent Sparta scoring a third.
While the Celtic goal was outstanding the Prague goals were both shocking from a Celtic point of view. Jullien and Bain got into an absolute state to gift the second.
Celtic have started the second half well but have failed to get the equaliser in a match that they must win if they are to have any hopes of staying in the Europa League.

At any level of football, the 2 goals we have lost here are embarrassing.

Lack of organisation throughout this Celtic side would make ye burst into tears.

There must be managers or coaches out there who are able to organise a professional football team. Individual errors galore suggests a deeper issue. Canny even be arsed repeating myself because we know nothing will change any time soon.

Most frustrating part of this is we all know these players are capable of so much more. A squad full of quality, experienced international footballers.

Painful watching us defend

BTW again, if that’s Barkas caught in no man’s land he’d be crucified by our support.

Down 2-1 now. Ajer allows the ball to run across the face of him and further into the box. What’s he doing? Inexcusable from him.

Started reasonably brightly going forward, but increasingly fell out of it as the half went on.
Defensively we’ve been all over the place from the first time they had the ball in our half. Defend like that in any game in any tournament and the other team has a chance against you

You have to laugh or you would cry. We seem to be playing without a defence. HH

We are so easy to score against. Defence is horrendous and nobody holds the midfield. Sick of hearing the same soundbites. Players are making ridiculous errors and shape is all over the place. Management and players have been equally as bad all season.
