Celtic’s Home Cup Ticket Scheme set to deliver for Hampden semi-final

Celtic supporters will receive the lion’s-share of tickets for the Premier Sports Cup semi-final against Aberdeen at Hampden on Saturday 2 November…

The SPFL today confirmed ticket allocations and prices for the matches after holding talks with all four clubs – Celtic, Aberdeen, Motherwell and theRangers – and relevant authorities.

The vast majority of adult tickets will range from £30-£35, with Under-16s and over-65s tickets £15-£18, following the introduction of a concessionary price in the North and South stands at Celtic v Aberdeen on Saturday 2 November
.
SPFL Group Chief Executive Neil Doncaster had this to say via the official SPFL website about the decisions that have been reached on ticketing and pricing for both semi-finals.

“We are very much looking forward to the Premier Sports Cup semi-final matches at the National Stadium in early November and wish all four clubs the very best of luck as they aim to book their place in our showpiece final on Sunday 15 December.

“We are pleased to be able to extend our concessionary prices across all four stands at Hampden Park, and hope supporters enjoy two keenly-contested and entertaining semi-finals.”

Celtic supporters will be split across the South, North and East stands for the 5.30pm kick-off on Saturday 2 November, while Aberdeen fans will be housed in the South and West stands.

It has been agreed by both clubs that the initial allocations may change dependent upon demand, that essentially means that should Aberdeen not sell their initial allocation additional tickets could be made available to the Celtic support.

Despite having a larger allocation Celtic will still not have enough tickets to satisfy the demand so this in the Home Cup Ticket Scheme who have bought tickets for the earlier games at Celtic Park against Hibs and Falkirk should be fine for tickets for Hampden while a ballot could be needed thereafter.
