Celtic remain very much in the hunt for the signature of Greece international striker Georgios Giakoumakis, despited inaccurate reports from his homeland earlier today that indicated that the VVV-Venlo goalscorer was 99% certain to join Werder Bremen.
That is not the case as the relegated German side struggle financially and are now actively seeking alternative less costly alternatives.
