Celtic supporters were promised a January review of Neil Lennon and the management team’s position. Those promises were made before Christmas, when protests took place outside Celtic Park.

Since that day, Celtic have fallen further behind in the league title race. The Hoops are 20 points behind theRangers with two games in hand. Meanwhile, we have suffered defeat to Gerrard’s team at Ibrox and drawn the three subsequent games.

To lay Celtic’s poor form bare – Lennon’s team have won just six in their last 21 matches.

There have been a number of fitness issues all season, by the Manager’s admittance, as well as a lack of direction in terms of personnel and formation. Off the ball tactics and pressing have been unidentifiable and the elite culture that Brendan Rodgers built seems to have been eroded.

The support appear to be unanimous in their belief that a new direction is needed for the future, whilst this season is well and truly over.

Despite the above, Sky Sports reporter Anthony Joseph, has confirmed that Celtic’s January review is ongoing and will not be complete until the end of the month.
