Chris Sutton heaps praise on ex-Celtic boss as he takes Spurs top

Chris Sutton has heaped praise on former Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou after he saw his side go top of the English Premier League this afternoon. Ten men Spurs won 1-0 against Luton Town to go top, at least until tomorrow.

Taking to Twitter/X, former Celtic striker Sutton lavished praise upon Ange as he continued to make an impact on Spurs and the Premier League.

The Australian left Celtic with a Treble in the trophy room, a total of five trophies in two years. Now, he has taken English football by storm, helping Spurs to their best league start since 1960.

It is brilliant to see him doing well and his success reflects well upon Celtic. Best of luck to him and hopefully a successful season is in store for Ange. The worry is that he will look to return to Celtic for some players that he feels can make the required step into English football, Reo Hatate and Kyogo spring to mind.
