Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has issued a less than glowing report on incoming signing Adam Idah. The Irishman is nearing a loan-to-buy deal with the Scottish Champions.

Sutton, who keeps an eye on his boyhood team, responded to the report that Celtic were closing in on the 22-year-old. Taking to Twitter/X, the BBC and Sky Sports man said that he wasn’t sure if he was an upgrade on South Korean striker Oh, who has been deputising for Kyogo since last January.
If this is true I’m not sure with the greatest respect it’s an upgrade on Oh… Idah needs to get away from Norwich and has potential but has had potential for years but he’s 100% in the development category and a long way from the finished article 👇👇 https://t.co/iIfLC9bbDZ

The Irish striker will look to push Kyogo in attack. However, the striker-turned-pundit believes that the Norwich City forward is not the finished article that the manager was looking for this month.
Celtic had been linked with Sydney van Hooijdonk from Bologna; however, the Dutch forward is now in talks with Norwich in a bizarre twist of fate.
