Christopher Jullien ended a 14 month injury spell with an appearance on Sunday evening. The French defender replaced Cameron Carter-Vickers and was able to play at least 15 minutes of football. The defender received a rousing reception as he returned to the field of play and his first touch was cheered enthusiastically by the support.
The central defender took to Twitter to react to the moment that he returned to the Paradise surface.
Woah this was one if the best feelings… Thank you all for that moment and all the good vibes during all that time 💚🍀 https://t.co/AQPzXaXFY4

Jullien has missed a huge chunk of football And he has had to be very patient with his comeback. The manager has been keen to get him back onto the pitch and up to speed with his teammates. Jullien ran back to clear a goal-bound effort against Dundee United, he cleared the ball but was left in a heap after his knee collided with the goalpost.
It is good for Celtic that a player of Jullien’s quality is once again available for selection but most importantly, Jullien will be delighted to be back. After the time he has spent on the sidelines, being helpless to events, Jullien will be keen to make up for lost time.
