Clyde 1 presenter left with egg on his face after Celtic wager resurfaces

Clyde 1 presenter Ewen Cameron was left with egg on his face after a resurfaced tweet has come back to haunt him. Celtic were emphatic winners in the clash in the Scottish capital this afternoon with goals from Matt O’Riley, Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Iwata.

Back in July, Cameron took to Twitter to say that Celtic would be lucky to get a point from the game before going on to say that he would wear a Celtic top on the Clyde 1 Football podcast if the Scottish Champions took three points from the meeting between the teams today.

Now, it will be interesting to see whether Cameron sticks to his word on this or whether it was simply social media grandstanding. It is a bitter day for Hearts fans as they failed to lay a glove on Brendan Rodgers’ team. Steven Naismith’s time as Hearts manager must surely be coming to an end with another clueless performance from the ex-Rangers player.

Celtic will turn their focus to UEFA Champions League action on Wednesday when Atletico Madrid arrive in Glasgow’s East End.
