THE CYNICS were back on media duty with the fans media organisation posing questions to the Celtic manager ahead of the Europa League Group H game against Lille. Celtic are with just two wins in twelve games and free-scoring Lille will not be in the mood for dishing out favours as they look to win the group against the top seeds, who sit bottom with just one point.
The Cynics asked Lennon whether the things had deteriorated in recent weeks and the manager was stumped by the answer, almost avoiding the question.
“On the 27th of October you said if things start to deteriorate rapidly you’ll hold your hands up and say this isn’t working. Can you hand on heart say things haven’t deteriorated at this point with 2 wins in 12 games and what can you do can you do that you haven’t already in this run of results to make sure that it doesn’t become 2 in 13 tomorrow night?”
We had @DavFlan at today’s presser. He asked Neil Lennon about the deterioration at the club and what he can do to fix it that he hasn’t already done.

Lennon’s response left a lot to be desired. He acknowledged that it was a good question but said that there was a confidence issue with his players but backed them to come good.
He will be keen on getting a win and fending off his critics for the time being. He will surely see the Scottish Cup Final as an opportunity to add his name to the list of Treble Winning Managers that boasts Stein, O’Neill and Rodgers.
The Cynics bizarrely had their media privileges removed, despite being one of the only fan led organisations to get access. Their excellent coverage has been welcomed by supporters and it is good to see them back in.
Lennon, meanwhile, is confident that he can orchestrate an upturn in form. The manager believes that he and his team can get a run of form under their belts and notch some much needed wins to wrestle the momentum from Steven Gerrard’s Rangers.
