Celtic have confirmed their fifth and sixth signings of the summer by confirming deals for Aaron Mooy and Moritz Jenz.

Jenz arrives on a loan with an option to buy. The 23-year-old arrives with Aussie midfielder Mooy as Ange Postecoglou adds to his midfield and defence.

Celtic were linked with Jenz last summer but the player joined Lorient. After a season in Ligue 1, Jenz made 18 appearances as his team battled relegation. The player will be wanting first team football and the opportunity to compete for trophies and play in Europe will be a huge draw for the player.

Jenz currently has four years remaining on his deal and it appears that Celtic are being careful in this deal, learning the lesson from Albian Ajeti deal perhaps.

The model has been successfully recently with deals being struck for Jota and Cameron Carter-Vickers to bring them to Paradise initially on loan.

The 31-year-old midfielder is a free agent following his departure from Shanghai Port earlier this summer. The Scottish Champions have sealed a deal to sign the Australian Internationalist on a deal until 2023, with an option for a further season. The player will wear the No.13 jersey.
