I suppose that it apt that theRangers have hung a picture of King Charles in their new dressing room at Hampden. Like that club he too is draped in honours earned by someone else…

Those involved in and around theRangers football club are a rather strange bunch who hold a range of peculiar behaviour traits. From their obsession of wearing suits and brown brogues to unhygienically sipping out the famous Loving Cup, you’d be forgiven if you thought of them as more of a strange cult than a 12 year-old football club.

One of those peculiar features of theirs is that they have a framed picture of the head of the Royal Family that takes pride of place in their dressing room. With Ibrox not fit for purpose (just like the Royal Family), they have seemingly transferred that portrait to the their temporary home at Hampden.

Dear knows what their foreign players think of such behaviour, they surely must think of it as rather strange to say the least.

For the last half of century it was a picture of Lizzie who took pride of place in their dressing room which was used by both of the Ibrox clubs, but since she’s no longer with us, it’s her oldest son who takes pride of place in the Ibrox dressing room. The very same Charlie who much like the rest of his family members love to display an array of medals on their breast.

Medals all earned by other folk I may add.

It’s very apt that theRangers have a picture of a man who’s draped in medals earned by someone other than himself taking pride of place as the players gear up for a game. It can serve as a regular reminder that they too like to claim and show off honours won by a different club, and even then not all those honours are legitimate.
