SHANE DUFFY suffered a faux-pas when posting an Instagram last night. The 28-year-old defender posted a photo with a middle finger after what has been a tough weekend for the club. The on-loan Brighton man then decided to edit the post with a new emoji depicting strength.

The Irishman has been thrown under the bus and depicted as a bogeyman due to some below-par performances; however, he still wears his heart on his sleeve and sought to address any confusion that the initial post brought.

Much like Okoflex, players should be more worried about performances on the park as opposed to speaking on social media. Duffy’s sentiment might have been different than the 18-year-old but actions speak louder than words and he can remedy this by getting back in the team and showing what he can do.

Elsewhere, Kieran Tierney was pictured almost scraping with a Leeds United player at full time after a 0-0 draw. The left back joined the English side last year and his passionate display shows what the club are missing just now.

Desire and passion were lacking at the weekend and so far this season. Something that needs to be remedied with an immediate change at the club.

Former Celtic right back Darnell Fisher is facing a probe from the FA after he appeared to grab ex-Hearts player Callum Paterson in the game between Sheffield Wednesday and Preston.

Since leaving Celtic, Fisher has become a mainstay in the Championship side and this is quite a bizarre incident for him to be involved in.
