A rather exciting update on our earlier story which told you that a second bid from Celtic to sign the AEK Athens goalkeeper Vassilis Barkas was imminent. Well the same source, Greek spots journalist and Editor-in Chief at Sportime Giannis Chorianopoulos, has updated us on developments as Celtic’s move to sign a new first pick goalkeeper reaches as successful conclusion.

And the deal looks increasingly likely and a good one for all parties with journalist Dimitris Vergos claiming as an exclusive the following:
