Celtic finally announced their new signing of Gustaf Lagerbielke earlier this week following a week of speculation.
Celtic is a massive club, so it can sometimes be quite daunting for players to have links with the Bhoys and speculations of transfers to the club. Headlines and rumours appear to hype these potential moves and it can sometimes prove unsettling for players.
However, the Elfsborg director had nothing but positive things to say about his encounter with Celtic while dealing with Lagerbielke’s transfer. In a statement released on Elfsborg FC, the Swedish club’s Sporting Director, Stefan Andreasson, revealed how his dealings with the Glasgow side impressed him. He said…

“We already have a good relationship with Celtic and they have acted in the way we want. This is one of the biggest deals we have done and it also provides good opportunities for future revenues.”

“Gustaf has had a powerful development with us and also had patience when other clubs showed interest earlier in the year. Now he gets the chance like so many others to take another step in his career and we thank Gustaf for his time here and wish him good luck in his future career and see you again.”
