Enzo Maresca is the even-money favourite to be the next permanent Celtic manager as the Man City coach has reportedly been given the green light by his current club to move to Glasgow.  The former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has drifted to 5/2 from 11/10, while odds on David Moyes to take over have also risen to 25/1 following West Ham’s Europa Conference League triumph. It looks like Moyes is now out of contention and will be staying on at West Ham after delivering their first trophy success in a generation.

Kjetil Knutsen (11/1), Kevin Muscat (14/1) and Graham Potter (25/1) are among the outsiders to replace Ange Postecoglou in the dugout but it’s increasingly looking like a two horse race between Maresca and Rodgers.

Sam Rosbottom from Betfair said: “Following the departure of Ange Postecoglou, the search for a new Celtic manager looks to be edging closer to completion. Current Manchester City assistant Enzo Maresca is now the even-money favourite to enter the Celtic Park hotseat.

“Former Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, the previous frontrunner to return, is now 5/2 second-favourite, while David Moyes’ odds have significantly drifted to 25/1 from 7/10 following West Ham’s Europa Conference League success.”
