Fan footage appears to show relations improving between Rodgers and Green Brigade

Celtic were excellent in the second half against Dundee as Brendan Rodgers side won 3-0. The substitutions were key as goals from Kyogo and Matt O’Riley followed up from David Turnbull’s strike from the penalty spot.

The victory maintains Celtic’s place at the top of the Cinch Premiership and sets the team up for the visit to Rotterdam for the UEFA Champions League opener against Feyenoord. After the game, as the players thanked the support, Brendan was at the back of the group applauding the supporters.

However, one supporter filmed to see the reaction from the Green Brigade after they were quite vocal towards the Irishman after the draw against St Johnstone.

As shown on Twitter/X by ‘The Fast Lovin, Sin-Soaked Heathen, the Green Brigade appear to have warmed towards Rodgers with some of them applauding but others with their arms down as Rodgers passed around the corner of the North Stand and the Lisbon Lions Stand.

Rodgers will win the section of the support that doubted his re-appointment by winning the league and making in-roads in Europe.

  1. Green Brigade have been allowed to do as they please, they should have been firmly dealt with years ago, however Lawell doesn’t have the guts to do so.
