Footy Headlines confirms Celtic’s elite status with Adidas

Celtic look set to join Real Madrid, Manchester United and Liverpool as Adidas Elite clubs. The German kit makers have been in partnership with Celtic since 2020, a move that has brought unprecedented success.

Now, FootyHeadlines are reporting that Adidas will seal a new deal with Celtic to continue manufacturing the kits of Scotland’s premier team but improving their status to match their place in world football.

There are set to be nine elite clubs with Newcastle United, AS Roma and Liverpool joining Adidas next season. Celtic will be elevated to join existing elite clubs Real Madrid, Arsenal, Manchester United, Juventus and Bayern Munich. It is certainly esteemed company for Celtic.

Adidas have decided that Celtic’s incredible commercial success during their partnership warrants the upgrade to an elite club. Celtic are in the top 20 for best selling shirts in world football, a place that befits the global status of the club. However, the aim for Brendan and his team are to close the gap between his side and the elite clubs on the pitch.
