Glasgow Derby date change as Sky Sports sets up a Beautiful Sunday

The third Glasgow Derby of the season at the home of the second Rangers has been moved back a day to suit Sky Sports broadcasting arrangements. The game which was scheduled to take place at Ibrox on Saturday 6th April will now take place the next day, Sunday 7th April with a kick-off time of 12 noon.

Brendan Rodgers will be looking at maintaining his brilliant record against theRangers – excellent last time around and perfect since returning defeating both Michael Beale, at Ibrox in September and Philippe Clement, at Celtic Park in December.  And Kyogo, who has an outstanding record of his own against theRangers in 2023 will be looking at inflicting more pain and suffering on theRangers support by grabbing yet another winner.

In both Glasgow Derby games this season it has been the Japanese striker who scored the winner on each occasion. More of the same sets up another Beautiful Sunday.

Meanwhile Celtic’s Scottish Cup quarter-final match against Livingston at Celtic Park has also had its date and kick-off time confirmed as Viaplay selected their choices for live broadcast. The game will take place on Sunday 10 March and the kick-off time is 2.30pm.
