SCOTRAIL have announced that there will be no trains on Sunday to either Dalmarnock or Bridgeton stations due to Network Rail carrying out planned engineering works that day.
The Celtic SLO John Paul Taylor tweeted the information earlier today and many supporters are less than happy that public transport is to be restricted for what will be a capacity crowd at Celtic Park.
Celtic need a win to secure the Magnificent Seven league wins but transport chiefs can point to the fact that this league match was NOT arranged at the start of the season but just a week or so ago and even then it was delayed as the SPFL and the Police tried desperately to ensure that the final Glasgow Derby of the season would not be a so-called Title Decider.
Well they FAILED in that one and now they have a game where thousands of supporters who normally make their way to Celtic Park using these two train stations will have to make alternative plans to get to Celtic Park on Sunday.
Supporters coming from the Stirling area will also be impacted by road closures caused by the Stirling Marathon and when the supporters buses arrive in the East End they can expect heavier traffic than usual for a capacity crowd match due to the train station closures.
