The Green Brigade have issued a rallying cry to the Celtic support after the Scottish Champions blew Hearts away with an impressive performance at Tynecastle. The GB were not in attendance after their away tickets were withheld by the club pending an internal review. However, after a display of Palestine flags before the game, the North Curve Celtic Twitter account asked that the support unite again on Wednesday to show solidarity for Palestine.

The Scottish Champions face La Liga Giants Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League and the Green Brigade have called on the Celtic support to bring flags to show their support for the Palestinian people.

The gesture will likely incur a sizeable UEFA fine and could even risk the partial closure of the Standing Section but, as stated in their message today, the will be unequivocal in their support for the cause.

Celtic were brilliant as they won 4-1 against the Jambos in Edinburgh with goals from Matt O’Riley, Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Tomoki Iwata restored Celtic’s seven point lead at the top of the table.
