Yet again The Green Brigade are active in carrying out charity work that are consistent with the Celtic founding principles. Even in tough, challenging times like these, when there will undoubtedly be folk in real and desperate need, the supporters from Paradise’s North Curve are there doing great work.

“This year, more than ever, Scotland’s families are relying heavily on our struggling food banks. Please visit our GOFUNDME page and please donate generously” The Green Brigade statement says as they promote their Online Food Bank Collection.

“For the last 8 years, the Green Brigade have been collecting or food baks across Scotland before Celtic home matches in the run-up to Christmas. Clearly, this year is different for everyone, and as a result of the continued stadium closures, we will be unable to receive food parcels as we normally would.

“The Tory Government continue to turn the screw on the most vulnerable. This coupled with the massive impact of Covid-19, has led to an unprecedented demand for emergency food  parcels. For this reason, we have decided to continue our food drive this year with an online appeal.

“Over recent years, the Celtic support have supported our food drives unequivocally. It has grown to become the biggest of its kind, and for that we should all be very proud. In some cases, the Celtic support have literally kept the doors of these food banks open. We ask that our support rallies together once more where possible.

“We will leave our GOFUNDME page open throughout November and will distribute all money raised up and down Scotland to people who need it most this Christmas.

“Please give generously,” the Green Brigade statement concludes.
