Nick Walsh will officiate Celtic’s game against Hibernian tomorrow night. The whistler is one of the best in the country and will oversee the Cinch Premiership clash at Easter Road, a ground that Brendan Rodgers is yet to win at across either spell as Celtic manager.

Walsh will be assisted by Dougie Potter and Ross Macleod with Euan Anderson operating as Fourth Official. Meanwhile, at Clydesdale House, Andrew Dallas is on VAR with Andrew McWilliam assisting.

Walsh last refereed Celtic at the end of December when Rodgers’ side beat Rangers 2-1 in the Glasgow Derby at Celtic Park. The game resulted in major fallout as Rangers threw their toys out the pram over a penalty award that would never have been given as the player was offside. Nevertheless, the Ibrox club are now in a favourable position to challenge for the title having cut back into the lead held by the Champions.

Celtic are winless in their last two visits to Leith, losing at the tail end of last season and a draw earlier this season. It is important that three points are recorded tomorrow as Rangers will likely draw level on points with a win over Aberdeen later this evening.
