HIBERNIAN have confirmed that they have made a concession to Celtic supporters ahead of this weekend’s clash between the teams. Instead of being subjected to the Hibs home commentary, the Easter Road side have decided to allow Celtic TV to deliver the in-game commentary.

In a statement, the Hibees confirmed that David Tanner would be hosting the game with former Celtic midfielder John Collins. Although instead of the usual Hibs commentary team, Celtic would be able to have their own commentators for the game, served up by the Scottish Champions’ TV team.

The game wasn’t selected much to the surprise of the Celtic support, who will instead have their visit to Livingston later this month shown on Sky Sports. The Edinburgh side will instead counteract their loss of gate earnings with the finances coming from selling PPV tickets.

Celtic will be hoping to continue on from an impressive win over Motherwell with a win over Jack Ross’ side. The Scottish Champions are nine points behind but they can put some pressure on Rangers ahead of their home fixture against Aberdeen.
