Almost every team in the world will go into the summer transfer window fearing that an offer will come in for a star player that they cannot refuse.

Celtic are no different, and it’s completely understandable that Odsonne Edouard would be attracting attention from a lot of big clubs.

He’s everything you want in the modern day striker – he can lead the line on his own, he scores a lot of goals, he’s physical, his technical ability is outstanding but he’s also unselfish and brings his teammates into the game.

The current financial situation does make it sound like the transfer market will be very quiet this summer, so Celtic will be hoping that Eddy stays for at least one more year.

You could also argue that it’s best for his development to stay – he’ll be the key man in a team who will be challenging for trophies and playing in Europe.

It looks like there is some good news for the Celtic fans here, as Eddy dropped a huge hint that he’s going nowhere next season:

Of course things can change and maybe someone will make a huge offer that has to be accepted, but this is a clear sign from Eddy himself that his focus is purely on playing for Celtic next season and playing a key role in securing 10IAR
