Keevins once more pushing his anti Celtic drivel as he tries to sell his Sunday paper…

Hugh Keevins continues to push his anti-Celtic narrative. I don’t know what the auld hack has against our club, well there could be a few reasons, but in continuing to do so he can’t help but distort the facts in order to fulfil his agenda.

Today he had a pop at our ‘bottle’ yes he did just that. It did make me chuckle, I mean questioning the credentials of the only unbeaten side in the league who are currently five points clear, led by a man who has won every honour in the Scottish game is highly amusing.

Indeed he is more complementary to Phillipe Clement who is just in the door at Ibrox.

Keevins reckons the pressure is on us in the games leading up to Glasgow Derby clash at the end of the month.

But isn’t it always? Yes of course it is. Have we been under-performing recently? Maybe, but guess what? We still remain unbeaten and currently enjoy a five point lead at the top of the table.

That’s despite us having to adjust to playing under a different style of football under a new man in charge. We’ve also been missing key players whilst having been sent to every tough away venue in the first quarter of games.

One of those games were at packed Ibrox with no away supporters, and we won despite having a makeshift back four knowing a defeat would see us knocked off top spot.

If that doesn’t prove our bottle then nothing else will.

No who else has plenty of bottle? Those who continue to employ the slivering old fool who is Hugh Keevins. The man is past his sell by date, and it’s time for him to retire while he still has some of his remaining faculties.

Meanwhile the Sunday Mail’s circulation continues to slide, despite Hugh doing his worst.
