David Turnbull is one of Scotland’s brightest talents. As Motherwell’s record sale, he is not a prospect any more, but a proven professional.
Last season, Turnbull scored 17 goals from midfield with a team that won 14 out of 30 matches in the SPFL. His goals are scored with either foot and great technique. He appears to be a top footballer with all the tools to succeed at a club like Celtic, who should create much more opportunties than the Steelmen.
Could it be time to bring him in from the cold and let him flourish at Celtic Park? He certainly has the ability, but he also has two commodities that have been lacking of late – belief and enthusiasm.
