Scotty Sinclair enjoyed an emotional return to Celtic Park this afternoon, which started with a warm reception from the Celtic fans who chanted his song as he emerged from the Preston team bus outside a sunny Paradise and continued throughout the afternoon.

The Invincible Celt even had the good grace to stay on his feet in the first half when he looked to have got away from Stephen Welsh. The former Celtic Player of the Year, who won nine major honours in just over three years in Scotland, struggled to stay on his feet, thus denying Kevin Clancy the chance to point to the spot. The whistler would make up for it in the second half though, finding an even lamer excuse to award a penalty against Celtic.

Still, Scotty was all smiles at the end, loving being back in Paradise and getting a chance to enjoy the adoration from the Celtic support.
