John Kennedy has really got under Ally McCoist’s skin by supplying RB Leipzig with a dossier on theRangers ahead of Germany and Scotland’s newest clubs meeting in the Europa League semi-final. The first leg took place in Leipzig on Thursday night with the home side grabbing a late winner with the only goal of the game. It’s a slender lead to take to Ibrox so that dossier provided by the Celtic assistant manager to Andreas Hinkel could make all the difference.

Whether that’s the case or not remains to be seen. However what is certain is that the short memories of those involved with the Ibrox collection of clubs is more than apparent in Ally McCoist’s latest rant against John Kennedy providing detailed information from Celtic to his former teammate who is Assistant boss at RB Leipzig.

“Don’t start me on the co-efficient by the way,” McCoist ranted on BT Sport last night. “Everybody in Scotland seems delighted with the co-efficient apart from John Kennedy who is trying to lower the co-efficient.

“Andreas Hinkel phoned him, Hinkel, “Hey John, what about that Rangers? ‘Oh yes I will give you all the information you want Andy. You’re from Germany, that will really help the co-efficient in Scotland. Have all the information on Rangers.’

What’s going on with you lot. It’s treason, treason I tell you,” McCoist ranted.

Short memory McCoist of course got some immediate answers from Celtic fans.

“Ally didn’t have a problem when Rangers let a lot of Celtic’s European opponents train at Murray Park. Double standards from Coisty me thinks,” Sturam noted.

“Sure Sally and Sir Walter lay down the red carpet with Celtic opponents in the past, letting them train at Murray Park and am sure they had a wee word in. Sally who was at the wheel when his club died,” EW added.
