Former Rangers and Celtic striker Kenny Miller has said that the decision to send Yang off was the wrong one. Speaking on Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, the player-turned-pundit blasted the decision to send the South Korean winger off.

Don Roberson initially gave a yellow card before John Beaton on VAR instructed the referee to make an on-field review. The resulting red card had a massive impact upon Celtic’s chances of taking three points from the game.

Miller is the latest pundit to speak out against the decision, which surprisingly has its appeal rejected. The second decision, which saw Tomoki Iwata penalised for a hand ball that he didn’t know about, has been equally met with criticism from pundits.

Celtic will now be without the winger for the two games against Livingston and St Johnstone before the international break.
