KIERAN TIERNEY tonight won the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year for an unprecedented third time and also picked up the Goal of the Season award for his wonderful long range effort against Kilmarnock in the 5-0 win over Kilmarnock in the Betfred Cup last August.

Earlier in the day KT had starred in Celtic’s 5-0 skelping of the Rangers at Celtic Park, with the full back setting up Odsonne Edouard for the opening goal. He later got involved in the singing and dancing in amongst the Green Brigade – much to the delight of the Celtic support.

His manager Brendan Rodgers though, missed out on the Manager of the Year Award which was given to Jack Ross, the St Mirren boss.
