With Harry Kane having at long last finalised his move to Bayern Munich, the inevitable rumour mill has unsurprisingly been in overdrive with talk of Kyogo reuniting with Ange Postecoglou, this time in North London.
It’s most likely nothing more than the media and the nervy section of our support getting ahead of themselves, however IF and that’s a big IF, Kyogo is the subject of a bid from Tottenham Hotspur, then it will need to be a figure that blows the current Scottish transfer fee out the water if Celtic are to consider selling our talisman.
Ange Postecoglou and Spurs will be fuming that their 30-year old star striker is leaving just as the new season is about to start, but we will be just as furious if they in turn decide to make a move for our star striker the week after our season got underway.
Kyogo is a fantastic player and he looks like he’s added an extra dimension in his game under Brendan Rodgers and we one hundred percent don’t want to lose him. If Tottenham want Kyogo the club should demand top dollar for him, a figure that blows the massive KT and Jota fees out the park.
We should be holding out for £40 million and no less. Kyogo is a fantastic player and only recently signed a new deal, we don’t want to lose him, so any attempt to sign him will cost any interested club a small fortune.
