Green Brigade rumour quashed by Celtic – The Celtic Star can confirm…

There’s an email doing the rounds today that purports to show correspondence from Celtic to a member of the ultras group and states that the Green Brigade members have now had their season tickets permanently revoked with the club processing refunds for those affected.

This apparently is a result of the Green Brigade failing to reach a compromise with the club. Here is the email that is doing the rounds and you may have seen on social media this afternoon…

The Celtic Star contacted Celtic about this rumour and the letter shown above. Celtic have seen this letter and have now confirmed to The Celtic Star that this is ‘RUBBISH, A FAKE EMAIL’.

So make of that what you will. This email was produced on a thread that started with a positive rumour that the Ultras and the club had reached an agreement and they’d be back in their usual place on Saturday afternoon.

The email certainly took the wind out of the sails of many Celtic supporters – ourselves included – who want the dispute resolved and the stadium full with Celtic supporters backing the team as we have a league to win!

On that fake email, who creates these things and why? If you don’t want Celtic to succeed yet you appear to be a Celtic supporter, what goes through your head when you go to the trouble of faking an email just to cause further disharmony?

Anyway it’s a FAKE EMAIL, one Celtic has described as RUBBISH. And hopefully that’s a positive sign that good news is imminent, maybe even in time for this weekend.
