Celtic face Falkirk this afternoon in the League Cup Semi Final with Brendan Rodgers’ side targeting a return to Hampden. John McGlynn’s team will prove to be a tough opponent as they lead the Championship.
Falkirk beat Hearts in the last round while Celtic beat Hibs to enter into the QFs. The game is the last match of the Quarter Finals with Celtic looking to join Motherwell, Aberdeen and Rangers in the draw for the Hampden Semi Finals.
Celtic’s game against Falkirk is the fourth game of the quarter finals with Motherwell beating Dundee United, Rangers beating Dundee and Aberdeen defeating the Spartans.
The draw will take place later this evening after Celtic play Falkirk at Paradise. It is expected that the draw will take place at 5pm, unless extra time is required to separate the sides.
Naturally, Celtic must win the game before focusing on the next round. However, fans will be hopeful that the Scottish Champions can dismiss the Scottish League 1 winners and take their place in the draw for the next round.
