Lisbon Lion John Fallon has had more than enough of the sneering, anti-Celtic bias continually shown by the former Rangers striker Kris Boyd. He has taken to social media to call for the subscription broadcaster to remove Boyd from future Celtic games shown on their channel.
“I honestly think we should contact Sky Football, asking for Kris Boyd to be removed from commenting on or games bias and sneering at us,” the former Celtic goalkeeper stated. “Just hit them where it hurts and cancel your subscription” one supporter replied.
“I just don’t watch him at all, I don’t rate his football analysis, he is very basic and shouldn’t be on the tv. I’ve said it for several seasons now but Sky won’t get rid of him. I’ll listen to other football chat after the game than listen to the clown” Gerry Byrne added. “Perhaps The Celtic Fans ‘Self Appointed’ Spokesman should stop speaking to this Anti-Celtic Media,” Pat Maguire added. Whoever could he be referring to?
“It suits Sky’s agenda. Slippy returns south the all-conquering hero. Saw it coming a mile away,” Colin Rodgers stated. Chivs though isn’t too bothered about the pro-Rangers bias from Boyd. “To be fair he supports them, we had big Sutton laughing at them for years, part and parcel of the game up here, just turn it over when he’s yapping,” he suggested.
John Fallon though was having none of that. “No Chivs sorry but free speech is been stopped by media. I’m fed up getting told to accept it, we are still treated as 2nd class people, turn the other cheek no way, I will stand up for my club faith and ancestry,” The Lisbon Lion responded.
While the last word goes to the brilliantly named One Club, Four Seasons, Twelve Trophies who said this: “He supported and played for both clubs, the Old Liquidated one, and the New Zombie Tribute Act.”
