Celtic face Livingston on Sunday afternoon as Ange Postecoglou’s side looks to get revenge over David Martindale’s team after the narrow 1-0 defeat in September then a draw in October. The SFA have announced that referee Nick Walsh has been handed the clash against the side that are currently fourth in the SPFL Premiership.

The referee will be aided by Frank Connor and Calum Spence as his Assistants with Bobby Madden operating as Fourth Official.

Back in September, a goal from Andrew Shinnie settled the affair as Celtic were made to pay for a momentary lapse in concentration sealed the win for the West Lothian outfit and Celtic are back on Sunday.

Giorgos Giakoumakis missed a last-minute penalty as Celtic forfeited the chance to go top of the table. However, ahead of the game at The Tony Macaroni this week, Celtic are going into the game three points ahead of second-placed Rangers. The upcoming game takes Celtic to a ground that they have failed to win at since Livi were promoted back in 2018.

Livi are in some fine form at the moment, propelling themselves out of a relegation dogfight and into the top four. There is never a good time to play Livi but Celtic need to buck their hoodoo against the West Lothian club on Sunday.
