Celtic this morning released their new home kit for the 2025/26 campaign and it seems to have gone down well with the supporters…

Just a day after announcing a new lucrative five year deal with adidas, the new kit has caught the eye of the supporters and will no doubt sell in massive numbers worldwide.
The design which was leaked a while back didn’t really go down well with the supporters as some of the home kits under adidas seem to have done during Celtic’s partnership with the sports giants.
However on closer inspection and modelled by the players it looks very eye catching and is complemented with a hint of tartan on our green hoops.

Prices aren’t cheap though as today’s football tops tend to be which is rather unfortunate in the present climate. The new top will cost a whopping £75 whilst an authentic version is on sale for £120. That though is a collectors item and is actually a welcome addition to the range as it signals Adidas now regard Celtic as being one of their top tier elite clubs.
The £75 price tag won’t deter the supporters from splashing out in record numbers proving once again why adidas want us as one of their elite clubs and why Celtic are happy to commit to at least another decade with one of the world’s top sporting apparel brands.

“This is a hugely significant announcement for Celtic,” Michael Nicholson…
Celtic yesterday confirmed a long term ‘landmark extension’ of the club’s partnership with kit supplier adidas which is believed to last for a decade.

This is the most lucrative deal of its kind every in Scottish football and it propels Celtic even further ahead of any domestic challengers while providing additional resources for the club aiming to make a season-on-season impact in the UEFA Champions League, hopefully under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
Additional revenues of well over £30m anticipated
With additional revenues of well over £30m anticipated from this deal Celtic is clearly the most successful club in Scotland on and off the park. Indeed if you were to add together the total revenues from the other eleven clubs in the Scottish Premiership – including theRangers – that would add to to a small fraction of the total Celtic are now achieving with a global partner and with a winning formula within the partnership which has been great news for Celtic, adidas and indeed the Celtic support.
Here’s how Celtic broke the news on the official club website this morning….

Celtic announce new flagship superstore in partnership with adidas
Hot on the heels of the landmark decade long deal with adidas announced by the club this morning, Celtic this afternoon has confirmed the opening of a new superstore in the centre of Glasgow as the Scottish four-in-a-row champions look to paint the town green and white.

The Queen Street store will replace the existing store on Argyle Street
Replacing Celtic’s existing store on Argyle Street, the fantastic new Queen Street retail outlet (formerly the NEXT building) represents a huge development for the club and our supporters.
The new store will deliver 5,500 square feet of retail space across two floors – more than double the existing store – and will allow us to offer our full product range in a brilliant modern and spacious environment.
Supporters can look forward to shopping our fantastic range of kits, trainingwear, adidas Originals and so much more in a modern, spacious and accessible environment.
The new store will be launched in partnership with Celtic’s official kit supplier adidas
The new store will be launched in partnership with Celtic’s official kit supplier adidas, who have been integral to Celtic’s fantastic new design and fit-out and will offer a truly immersive fan retail experience, showcasing the strength of the partnership between two world-renowned sporting brands in Celtic and adidas.
The new city centre store will open later this year and the club will update supporters on opening arrangements in due course.

Retail income at Celtic tops £30m and this will surely rise with today’s two good news stories
Celtic’s retail operation is huge, contributing over £30m per year to the clubs funds. This new store will hopefully see that figure rise even higher at a time when other clubs are closing their own retail outlets.
