Adam Idah is still part of the Celtic first team WhatsApp group as the Irishman hopes for a summer return to Paradise. The 23-year-old enjoyed a second half loan as Brendan Rodgers’ side won the League and Scottish Cup.
As reported by Mail Sport’s Stephen McGowan, Idah remains within the group chat used by the Celtic team, indicating a willingness to remain in Glasgow.
Idah was a popular first team figure and it is a pleasing update that he clearly sees his future in the Hoops.
The update from McGowan coincided with the news on Tuesday that Norwich had launched internal disciplinary action against Idah for missing their squad flight to Austria for a pre-season camp with their manager admitting that the Celtic interest was a factor.
Brendan made it clear that the striker was one of his main transfer targets this summer. Idah made 19 appearances in his second half of the season loan, scoring 9 goals and assisting 2 times. The contribution of the Irishman was brilliant, culminating with his Scottish Cup Final winner against Philippe Clement’s Rangers.
