Making it up as they go along – Michael Beale’s first game myth

Anyone connected to theRangers Football Club seems to have a burning desire to make things up. They basically see things differently from the way others do. It’s like an illness, one that is treated by deludeamol.

Manager Michael Beale is no different from any other deluded bear and during a press conference this week he waffled one load of rubbish, even by Ibrox standards.

Michael still under pressure after the opening day defeat at Killie and a sub standard performance against Swiss side Servettes second string, insisted the Rugby Park defeat was down to first game jitters. He went explained how it also started like that for him at QPR.

Have I missed something? Michael has been theRangers boss for nine full months. First game? What’s even worse but not slightly surprising is that not one member of the press pack questioned him on his dreamed up fantasy. Maybe he even believes it himself?

Michael is under pressure because This theRangers side is his now his due to his summer signing spree. He is rewriting history with his fantasy tales. Well that’s what it’s all about down Ibrox way I suppose. They are not well but they beat Livingston so they’ll be back to being World beaters for a day or two at least.
