Sead Haksabanovic is set to join Stoke City. The winger, 24, was close to a move to join Greek side PAOK with the clubs negotiating a deal with personal terms agreed.

According to sports journalist Pete O’Rourke, Haksabanovic will undergo a medical to join The Potters. It remains to be seen whether this is a loan deal or a transfer. However, it looks as if the No.9 shirt will be vacated shortly.

The Montenegrin winger signed from Rubin Kazan last summer but has failed to hold down a regular place in the first team under either Ange Postecoglou or Brendan Rodgers.

Haksabanovic’s dissent on social media has been condemned by supporters, who would’ve rather he showed his value on the field as opposed to cryptic social media posts. However, it appears that he will not move to PAOK and instead go to the BET365 Stadium.

Celtic have completed a flurry of signings over the last few days with Luis Palma and Nat Phillips joining. It is expected that Paulo Bernardo will also sign tomorrow along with at least two other players.
