Mikey Johnston has reportedly said his goodbyes to his Celtic teammates after West Brom made a £3m bid. The Irish Internationalist has been the subject of interest from Burnley and Sheffield United over the last few days but now, West Brom have made a bid for the player meaning that there are three bids on the table for the player.

According to Sun Sport, Johnston has said his goodbyes to his Celtic teammates as he prepares to weigh up where he plays his football.

Burnley and West Brom have offered £3m for the player and it appears that personal terms have been agreed between Johnston and the clubs, leaving only his decision on where to go next.

Celtic have been attempting to take Sheffield United’s Auston Trusty in a £5.5m deal and you would hope that the Blades would not been too bitter if Johnston decides against moving to the Yorkshire club.

Johnston was subbed off minutes after being subbed on in the win against Hibs at Easter Rd. The attacker took a punch to the face while trying to header the ball towards goal. The injury set Johnston back but now he’s close to sealing a permanent exit from Celtic.
