One of the consequences of the new Sky Sports deal with Scottish football is about to be felt by Celtic fans over the next few away matches in the Scottish Premiership. Celtic travel to Fir Park to take on Motherwell on Saturday 16 October then after two home matches, against Ferencvaros in the Eupora League on Tuesday 19 October and St Johnstone in the league on Saturday 23 October, are on the road again to play Hibs at Easter Road on Wednesday 27 October.
Neither of these two away games are being shown on Sky Sports.
If you are going to the games there’s nothing particularly different but for the armchair fans – the vast majority who can’t get access to away tickets – there’s now a solution at hand for your Celtic fix, at least for the first game against Motherwell. Hibs undoubtedly will follow suit surely in due course?
