North Curve Celtic Launch Mental Health Awareness Week

The North Curve at Celtic Park is famous for its noise, colour and atmosphere. However, the curve and specifically the Green Brigade have always provided much more than that. Despite being the whipping Bhoys and Ghirls, they have done so much to help others. Indeed, the section has been behind the campaign to raise well over £100,000 for a Palestinian medical centre, they have organised a number of UK record breaking foodbanks, Christmas toy drives for underprivileged children and have helped refugees and ethnic minorities.

Mental health has often been an important topic that the Green Brigade and North Curve section have worked hard to address. They have handed leaflets out with important support numbers at matches in the past, and now the North Curve have launched a mental health awareness week to get more people more comfortable talking about mental health. As well as raising awareness, they will be fundraising for multiple mental health groups including the Walk & Talk CSC.

To kickstart the campaign, an important mental wellbeing video was uploaded to the group’s Twitter page.

While, the public release of some important podcasts will begin on Wednesday.

Keep an eye out on @NCCeltic on Twitter for more details about this fantastic campaign.
